Amber Ellis-Martin of RDP Law has been recognised as ‘Rising Star of the Year’ at the 2023 Wales Legal Awards.

Amber an Associate Solicitor at RDP, began her career with the firm as a work experience student. She then joined as a trainee solicitor post qualification before becoming a member of the firm’s real estate team. This year, Amber at just 3 years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience) was listed in The Legal 500 as a ‘Recognised Individual’, a huge achievement for even the most experienced of lawyers.

Commenting on winning at the Legal Awards, she said “I am thrilled to have been awarded the Rising Star of the Year Award. I cannot thank RDP enough for the support, guidance and development I have received over the past 5 years since I started as a trainee solicitor.”

The Wales Legal Awards was established in 2019 by Lux Family Law and celebrates the success of those practising in and providing services to the legal profession in Wales.

The winners of this year’s awards were announced at an awards dinner on Friday 24th November at the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel.
