Charity of the Year

RDP's charity of the year for 2025/2026 is the local animal re-homing charity, All Creatures Great and Small.

All Creatures Great and Small was founded in 1992 by Vivienne Harris. It became clear that there was a real need for a place of haven for sick, abused, neglected and unwanted animals in the area. Over the next few years the number of animals at All Creatures grew significantly. Through Viv’s hard work along with her volunteers, the sanctuary built a solid reputation for its dedication to animal welfare and All Creatures Great and Small became a registered charity in 2001.

At All Creatures Great and Small, they give animals a second chance through rescue and rehabilitation, responsible rehoming, sanctuary care for unadoptable animals, and education programs that promote compassion and animal welfare.

Throughout the year we will be raising money and support in many different ways, we hope you are able to support us (and the animals) however you may be able to.
