RDP Director speaks at 2019 Law Society Lexcel Conference

RDP director James Davies spoke, in late June, at The Law Society of England and Wales’ Lexcel Conference, which was held at The Law Society, Chancery Lane. The Lexcel badge is a standard of excellence for solicitors in England and Wales and the annual Lexcel conference is a chance for practitioners to come together to discuss issues around law firm management and growth as well as best practice within the profession.

Mr Davies was one of three panellists invited to address the conference on the topic of Excellence in Practice Management. He spoke alongside Alex Hatchman, who is the COO of Fletchers (a leading Legal 100 firm based in the north west) and Vidishi Joshi, managing partner of award-winning Hodge Jones Allen (which is based in the City).

Mr Davies said “It was a great honour to be invited to The Law Society to take part in this event and to do so alongside Alex and Vidishi, who are both leading figures within our industry. It was extremely interesting to discuss the short and mid-term challenges that we foresee in the profession, how both smaller and larger firms are reacting to these challenges in a positive, proactive manner and the similarities in their approach”.

RDP has seen staff numbers and turnover grow again this year for the fourth consecutive year as the firm increasingly establishes itself as a leading presence in the East of Wales and The Three Counties.
